Presenter: Dr. Katja Maria Schmalenberger - Germany
Dr. Katja Schmalenberger finished her Ph.D. program in clinical and cognitive psychology at Heidelberg University, Germany, in the Spring of 2021. She is currently doing a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Illinois Chicago funded by the German Research Foundation. Her research focuses on the reliable and valid assessment of PMS/PMDD and on menstrual cycle-related variations in cognitive and affective functioning and associated changes in heart rate variability. Dr. Schmalenberger is currently undergoing clinical training in cognitive behavioral therapy.
